GPS Engineer for EMI, PD, and other Electrical Tests

JOB SUMMARY: GPS Engineer for EMI, PD, and other Electrical Tests
Testing for electric power industry including: utilities, generation plants, and industrial plants. Field testing of electric apparatus such as generators, motors, isophase bus, transformers, circuit breakers, cables, and accessories. Application of diagnostics for condition assessment. Knowledge of apparatus, equipment, and test methods needed to write professional reports for customers.
Essential Job Functions

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the ARMS Solution Manager, the Engineer will provide analytical/technical development and customer support for all ARMS substation apparatus business rules.
Essential Job Functions

Graphic Designer

JOB SUMMARY:
The position will be the primary leader in the creation of print and of digital media for marketing. The primary role will involve the development of finished media projects, maintenance of both the external and internal websites including the client knowledge portal, maintaining the core Doble brand messaging and providing input on leading edge multimedia hardware and software.
Essential Job Functions
1. Creates Doble’s visual graphics including print and digital advertisements, tradeshow graphics, video content, templates for HTML messages, template of company materials , etc.
2. Maintains and updates Doble corporate web site including the customer portal and the internal iDoble website, collaborating with colleagues and outside web team
3. Works with product managers to create/update all Doble marketing materials.
4. Organizes and maintains resource library of Doble publications, photos, video footage, logos and images – both electronic and hard copy. Provides files to internal clients as needed.

The Business Writer will be the primary writer for all business related marketing materials for Doble including, but not limited to, white papers, case studies, testimonials, abstract submissions, editorials, technical news articles and online copy. • Serves as lead business writer to clearly communicate Doble’s vision, direction and strategy.

Customer Service Supervisor

JOB STATEMENT
Supervisor of Watertown service facility, responsible for daily supervision of Customer Service Technicians and Manufacturing support staff. Ensure that fulfillment of all customer service requirements regarding on time delivery, warranty logistics, customer repairs, leased equipment, and that day to day support operations are consistently managed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Provide service support for all domestic and international inquiries associated with Doble Products.
• Qualify instrument hardware or software problems reported by customers, service technicians, and sales representatives that have escalated beyond normal support levels. Interface with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Applications Engineering service to ensure a complete evaluation of the customer’s issues.
• Assist in determining design and/or manufacturing process changes as appropriate, and ensure rapid communications to the customer with a final resolution.
• Assist the Customer Service Manager in the implementation of technical support strategies and methodology for Doble USA and foreign service centers.
• Generate blanket service contracts for repair, calibration services, and spare parts. Provide customization of support programs for overseas customers and nuclear power generation facilities, as required.
• Assist in the management of all module and spare part service inventories for all products.
• Assist in the management support of repair spare parts order processing for all products sold.
• Provide support in the administration of instrument upgrade programs, including hardware and firmware upgrades.
• Provide support for the coordination of engineering change implementation.
• Provide support to the Customer Service Manager regarding departmental budgetary analysis and planning.
JOB SPECIFICATION
• Associate degree or comparable experience with 5 or more years working as a manager or supervisor in the electronics industry in a medium to high volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong analog and digital circuit skills.
• Possess a good understanding of current software tools.
• Knowledge of test equipment and current test techniques.
• Possess good leadership, communication, written, oral and verbal skills.
