DES Sales Engineer

Software Engineer
Doble Engineering Company currently has an opening for a Software Engineer. This employee will assume development responsibilities for an existing VB6 application. The application is for the control of test and measurement instruments for the Electric Utility industry. Responsibilities to include functional enhancements and bug fixes.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing time lines for projects
- Participate as a team member on development projects
- Provides project updates to project management
- Participates in regularly scheduled and ad hoc project team meetings
- Follows proper processes for code and build management
- Identifies potential options to designs when appropriate
- Identifies any potential product risks to the product project team and/or project management
The ideal candidate has:

Client Service Field Engineers are responsible for performing diagnostic tests, data analysis and report writing for the DES ("Doble Engineered Strategies") Group. Engineers will also support clients of the Doble Service Program, development programs in the engineering department and the Doble International Client Conference, and its committee structure.

- Perform on-site field tests on substations and plant equipment
- Provide engineering support and written reports on the interpretation of measured data

The ideal candidate has:

Corporate Communications Analyst
The Corporate Communications Analyst position is ideal for an individual with a strong knowledge of international markets. This position reports to the Director of Corporate Communications.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in the development of annual Corporate Communications plans, including the support needs for Client Services, Marketing and Product Management departments
- Assist in the development of Corporate Communications campaigns for marketing initiatives in international locations and the management of day to day project logistics and project budgets
- Act as primary contact person in regards to international marketing efforts and liaison with outside vendors, event management and print management

Client Service Engineer
Client Service Engineers provide high-level engineering support to international clients of the Doble Service Program. Engineers also perform substation apparatus testing and support Doble International Client Conferences and their committee structure.

Field Engineers
As a Field Engineer you will be responsible for providing engineering support for Doble PowerTest (DPT) testing and consulting services. You will assist senior test engineers during site HV testing as well as carry out site testing independently when necessary. Experience is preferable but not essential as training can be provided.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide site testing services for DPT projects
- Ensure test equipment is calibrated and maintained
- Ensure working areas under DPT's control are clean and free of any Health & Safety Issues
- Provide engineering support and written reports on the interpretation of site work

Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant position is ideal for an individual with a strong knowledge of accounting. This position is based in the Marlborough office.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing reports including account reconciliations
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports summarizing company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past and present operations
- Assists in the preparation of budgets and analysis of monthly variances
- Monthly analysis for cost of sales and inventory transactions
- Prepares monthly reports for Corporate, including working with internal and external auditing staff
- Financial accounting and reporting for all Doble foreign subsidiaries and analysis of variances
