15 - 19 November 2010
Kingscliff, NSW AUSTRALIA
The Mantra

The 2010 Australasian Protection Testers User Group (APTUG) Meeting will be hosted by Country Energy. Country Energy is a leading Australian energy business and operates Australia’s largest electricity network spaning 95 per cent of New South Wales. Country Energy has been using Doble test sets since 1989 and is currently using M4000s, F6000s,and F2 series test instruments.

Participation in the APTUG Meeting is free of charge to all organisations that have a current registered Doble ProTesT Maintenance Agreement or are within a relevant 12-month warranty period at the time of the meeting.

In recent years up to one hundred participants have attended, making these meetings the premier event for electricity system protection testing in the Australasian region. We recommend early registration, as places are limited.

Why Attend:

The aim of the APTUG Meeting is to provide a forum for the sharing of experiences, development and teaching of protection testing techniques.

The APTUG Meeting provides the opportunity for participants to:

  • Increase their knowledge on protection relays and testing techniques.
  • Make presentations or perform practical demonstrations on new or interesting test applications.
  • Provide technical training in testing techniques and test plan creation.
  • Share best practice techniques and applications for protection system technologies.
  • Discuss recent and future enhancements to Doble hardware and software.
  • Provide feedback to Doble for correction of problems and future developments.
  • The success of the meeting depends upon a diverse range of presentations and topics.
