2008 IndiaDoble Protection and Automation Conference

Doble has hosted technical conferences around the world for 75 years. The common focus of these conferences has been an exchange and sharing knowledge relating to the safety and optimum performance of power systems. Protective relaying forms an essential link in any power system and Doble has been a pioneer in the field of testing relays and protective systems.

The first IndiaDoble Protection and Automation Conference in 2008 is geared toward the exchange and dissemination of knowledge in the area of protection testing and relay applications.

The three-day conference includes one day of tutorials and two days of paper presentations. The conference will present the following tutorials:

• Distance Protection
• Differential Protection
• Generator Protection - Settings Criterion
• Demonstration of Testing an IEC61850-Ready Relay using Doble GSE Configuator Program

Call for Papers:

The Doble India Client Committee hereby invites all parties and individuals who are interested in presenting a paper at this conference to submit an abstract by 31 August 2008.

The Doble Client Committee is looking for papers in the following areas:

• Relay Management and Maintenance
• New Methods of Testings
• New Relaying Concepts
• New Application Concepts
• Horror Stories Related to Relay Mis-operations
