The 2008 Doble Africa Conference program will include 1 day for Tutorials and 2 days of Technical Presentations.

Keynote Speakers:
Doble Africa is very proud to have four distinguished keynote speakers from different utilities within Africa. The theme of the keynote addresses is “Managing System Growth and Performance”

Three optional tutorials are offered:

·         Transformer Oil as a Diagnostic Tool by Dr. Richard Heywood
·         Partial Discharge – A Practical Appreciation by Dr. Alan Wilson

Technical Session:
The tecfhnical session will cover the following topics:
·         Asset & Maintenance Management
·         Arresters, Capacitors, Cables & Accessories
·         Bushings, Insulators and Instrument Transformers
·         Circuit Breakers
·         Insulating Materials
·         Transformers
The presentations will be of a practical nature dealing with science, application, diagnostic testing, failure and assessment of power equipment.
