The 2008 Doble Africa Conference program will include 1 day for Tutorials and 2 days of Technical Presentations.

Keynote Speakers:
Doble Africa is very proud to have four distinguished keynote speakers from different utilities within Africa. The theme of the keynote addresses is ?Managing System Growth and Performance?

Tutorials:
Three optional tutorials are offered:
·         Understanding and Testing of Circuit Breakers by Mr. Jozef Levi
·         Transformer Oil as a Diagnostic Tool by Dr. Richard Heywood
·         Partial Discharge ? A Practical Appreciation by Dr. Alan Wilson

6 - 7 August 2008
Technical Session:
The tecfhnical session will cover the following topics:
·         Asset & Maintenance Management
·         Arresters, Capacitors, Cables & Accessories
·         Bushings, Insulators and Instrument Transformers
·         Circuit Breakers
·         Insulating Materials
·         Transformers
The presentations will be of a practical nature dealing with science, application, diagnostic testing, failure and assessment of power equipment.

Costs

·         Registration fees will be waived for companies with Doble Service Agreement as prescribed by their contract. If you have questions regarding your company's eligibility, please email to Luwendran Moodley

·         Eskom employees may attend free of charge 
·         Cost for non-Eskom employees is RZA 4500
