M4000: The world's most advanced test system for power apparatus diagnostics

M4100 Insulation Analyzer

The M4100 Insulation Analyzer evaluates the integrity of high-voltage substation apparatus by measuring the power factor/tangent delta, along with a number of other essential values. It also measures the capacitance, to evaluate physical changes to the apparatus. The M4100 provides accurate evaluations even under conditions of high electrostatic and electromagnetic interference.

Options to extend the capabilities of your M4100:

Safety Strobe

The Safety Strobe flashes while M4100 tests are in progress, providing a visual warning of high voltage.

Temperature/Humidity Probe

The Temperature/Humidity Probe automatically measures temperature and humidity, providing critical information for the diagnostic evaluation.

M4300 Transport

The M4300 Transport cart ensures smooth, easy travel over all terrain.

Transformer Turns Ratio Capacitor

With the addition of the Transformer Turns Ratio Capacitor, the M4100 can measure the turns ratio of power transformers at potentials up to 10 kV.

M4140 Capacitor Bank Test Kit

The M4140 Capacitor Bank Test Kit contains a clamp-on CT probe and cable that allow you to test individual capacitors in a capacitor bank without disconnecting them from the bank.

Type C Resonating Inductor

The Type C Resonating Inductor is an adjustable reactor designed to extend the charging current range of the M4100, for testing larger apparatus.

M4110 Leakage Reactance Interface

Use the M4110 Leakage Reactance Interface to perform short-circuit impedance tests on transformers – a vital tool in diagnosing winding deformation.

M4120 External Reference Module

The M4120 External Reference Module allows you to use the measurement circuit of the M4100 with an external power supply and reference capacitor to test at voltages greater than 12 kV.

Equipment Cases

High-density-plastic molded transport cases are designed for shipping the M4100 or M4300 by air freight or truck over rough terrain.

Doble Test Assistant (DTA) Software

Doble Test Assistant has two components: DTA Field and DTA Web.

• DTA Field supports onsite data retrieval with apparatus-specific test forms, standardized test procedures, and test-result analysis.
• DTA Web incorporates the results into a remote, Doble-hosted relational database, with “one-click” backup, advanced editing and merging functions, and analysis tools for evaluating and comparing test results against Doble limit files.
