DTA WebDTA Web 1.4DTAWeb Version 1.4 is the next release of DTAWeb. DTAWeb v1.4 adds the capability for a dedicated Authentication URL to relay user authentication to a CAM at the user's company, support for loading DTAF v5.6 file formats, load and extract support for T-Doble library plans, and loading of files into other databases is no longer 'restricted' when load permissions are in place. DTAWeb v1.4 adds the capability to use a dedicated Authentication URL that can be setup to relay the user authentication back to a Custom Authentication module (CAM) at the client's company. To configure your system with this capability please contact your Doble principal engineer. A utility named convertcds.exe is provided below to convert entire folders of CDS files to XML without going through DTAF. The convertcds.exe program MUST be saved in your DTAF program folder to operate properly. To install DTAWeb, Microsoft .net v2.0 must be installed on your computer. If the installation program does not detect Microsoft .net 2.0, it will direct you as to where you can download and install it. DTAWeb requires you to have a username and password to connect to the database. The username and password used are the same as used for the Doble Portal login. Please contact your Doble principal engineer to obtain a username and password. The DTAWeb application listed below as DTAWeb14.exe is a self-extracting files requiring a password to open. To obtain the password contact your Doble principal engineer. Also available is the CDS to XML conversion program.
