Our Featured Technical Paper is "The Collection and Use of Field Data to Inform Maintenance Policy and Asset Management Decisions within National Grid – An Update," by Martin Clayton, National Grid 

Paper Abstract:  This short paper provides an overview of the methods used within the UK electricity transmission business of National Grid to collect and store field data and how analysis of this data provides input to Maintenance Policy and Asset Management decisions. Examples are given where use of such data has informed decisions. Recently introduced enhancements to existing systems are discussed.
