Independent of vendors or commercial interests, Doble Engineers provide each client a highly individual experience that draws upon a wealth of resources. In case of an emergency, a Doble Engineer is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A Doble Service Agreement with the “Equipment Option” (DSEA) ensures access to the latest test equipment, with free replacements and software upgrades to keep you protected against obsolescence.
Disruptions to your test schedule as a result of test instrument errors can result in the loss of time and money. With your Doble Service Agreement, we will replace and upgrade your test instrument should any malfunctions occur while in-service. You don’t need to worry about repairs, calibration, or maintenance. Just place a call to Doble for troubleshooting assistance or the replacement of your equipment. Replacements can often ship by the next business day after your request.

Doble provides a unique forum for industry peers to share and solve their most pressing maintenance, apparatus, and safety issues to improve system reliability and minimize risk. The Client Committee Meetings are exclusively for utility, testing and industrial end users with a Doble Service Agreement.
The meetings facilitate an open dialogue between you and your peers about safety, asset health, and maintenance issues, focused on problem-solving and collaboration through training and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing. Participants share issues and best practices, learn from the experiences of others, and collaborate to solve problems, all without the presence of manufacturers or insurers.
There are eight Client Committees, each with a unique focus, meeting twice a year: once in September/October in a different North American location, and once at the International Conference in Boston.
Any Doble DSA client from a utility, industrial, or testing company can join as many committees as they wish, and all DSA clients are invited to attend any of the eight committee meetings without officially joining. Joining a committee does not obligate you to a significant contribution of time, it simply implies you plan to actively participate in discussions.
To promote the free exchange of information, apparatus manufacturers, manufacturers’ service divisions, suppliers, re-sellers, refiners, insurers, and underwriters are excluded from membership and attendance.

Want to know how your transformer oil benchmarks against others in the market and that year-on-year the quality is consistent? The Annual Oil Survey is included as part of your Doble Service Agreement and has been running for over 60 years, making it one of the longest-standing programs in the electric power industry. It provides guidance when you are selecting insulating fluids for use in your electrical assets by evaluating current commercially available mineral oils against recognized standards and also against some specific non-standard tests. The survey reviews the consistency of mineral oil products compared to previous years.
All products are tested in accordance with the most current version of the Transformer Oil Purchase Specification (Doble TOPS)—a standard Doble originally created in 1961, establishing the foundation for transformer oil quality evaluation worldwide.
Doble’s labs are accredited to both ISO/IEC 17025 (testing and calibration) and ISO/IEC 17034 (reference material production), a distinction held by very few laboratories in this field. With more than 200 tests available, the Doble Laboratories are one of the most comprehensive insulating materials testing facilities in the industry. Your test results include an analysis of the data and recommendations for remedial action if warranted. All tests meet ASTM, IEEE and IEC standards.
