Doble protection diagnostic instruments are compact, rugged, field-portable devices used worldwide by test engineers to diagnose and calibrate electromechanical and numerical schemes. The instruments are designed to provide fully automated steady-state, dynamic, and transient testing capability, in the field as well as in a laboratory.

Doble offers the following protection diagnostic instruments and software:

F6150 Power System Simulator

The F6150 Power System Simulator is the only instrument with the high power, flexibility, and sophisticated software to run full simulation tests on your relays and protection schemes.

F6350 Current/ Voltage Amplifier   

Detailed testing of protective relays, protective schemes, and control systems are often performed using a closed loop real time system such as the one illustrated below.

F6300 High-Power Current Amplifier

The F6300 High-Power Current Amplifier works in combination with the F6150 Power System Simulator to test high-burden electromechanical relays, which require high-power current sources to drive the necessary current.

F5814 Recloser Test Interface Unit    

The F5814 Recloser Test Interface unit is designed to interface between all 14 pin reclosers and the F6150 Power System Simulator. It provides testing for the control circuit independently (in the Simulate mode) or a complete functional test of the recloser (in the Operate mode).

F6816 External Input Output unit 

The F6150 includes 8 logic inputs and 8 logic outputs. If you have a need for additional contact inputs and/or contact outputs, the F6816 is your solution. 

Current Probe (AC/DC)  

Doble’s Current Probe (Part number 401-0055) is a tool that aids in the measurement of current signals when using the Recording feature of Doble’s Transwin program.

F6010 Controller

The F6010 Controller solves many of your testing requirements in environments where a portable computer is impractical or unavailable. It provides standalone control functions for F6150 sources via the wireless, Ethernet, or serial port of the F6150.

F6050 Universal Time Synchronizer

The F6050 Universal Time Synchronizer extends the benefits of GPS-synchronized end-to-end testing to your entire power system, regardless of location, eliminating the need for costly staged fault testing.

F6080 Field Calibration Unit

The F6080 Field Calibration Unit allows you to verify the calibration of F6150 current and voltage sources in the field, without sending the F6150 to the calibration lab or the Doble service center.

F2250 Power System Simulators

F2250 Power System Simulators reproduce phasor and logic signals and verify protection-scheme response, allowing you to run steady-state, dynamic-state, and optional transient simulation tests.

Protection Suite

The next generation of Doble protection testing software. A powerful, versatile and user-friendly tool to help you test relays and protection system with ease and confidence.

F6 Multiple Amplifier Configurator Software

F6 Multiple Amplifier Configurator is a software for configuring and controlling several F6 amplifiers (F6350 and F6300). The software is hosted on one computer and can control/configure up to 16 amplifiers.

Configuration of amplifiers is required to enable correct amplification of the low level signals that are provided by a host simulator such as the RTDS (Real Time Digital Simulator). The amplified signal must be of the correct magnitude based on conversion factors that are selected as part of the configuration process.

F6TesT Software

F6TesT gives you automatic control of F6 instruments from a standard PC. F6TesT makes testing impedance, differential, voltage, current, and frequency relays simpler than ever before. Even complex protection schemes are easy to test with F6TesT’s graphical interface and preconfigured test templates (macros).

ProTesT Software

ProTesT is a comprehensive software test system designed for improved productivity and quality in performance testing and assessment of protection and protection schemes. ProTesT provides powerful database and reporting capabilities that give you better control and management of your testing and maintenance programs.
