Doble Engineering Company establishes Doble Australasia PTY. LTD.

August 12, 2005 — Boston, MA – Doble Engineering, world leader in diagnostic instruments and knowledge services for the electric power industry, is pleased to announce the formation of a new subsidiary company, Doble Australasia Pty. Ltd. in Brisbane, Australia.

Doble Australasia will provide sales assistance and real-time application engineering on all Doble’s products, through out Australia, New Zealand, and the ASEAN countries of Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia.

Doble Regional Sales Manager Mike O’Dowd will direct all activities of Doble Australasia. Karl Haubner, formerly of Western Power, will focus on high voltage apparatus. Murray Gillett, formerly of Energex, will be responsible for Protection. Noel Robinson will oversee repair support and service.
